Here’s a really nice rendering of The Gorn by artist nightwing 1975. Some day I’m going to draw my own renderings of Trek aliens!

Another beauty by Tafafa - this time its Amanda and Sarek. Such regal poise; Sarek looks intense yet gentle in the way he touches Amanda’s hand. Amanda radiates pure love. I’d love to see this in full color!
Speaking of Journey to Babel, be sure to check out my next Trek poster on Tuesday!
Isn’t he the cutest thing? Well, sort of! Poor little guy looks lost. By artist starluck on DeviantArt
For this week’s Fan Art, and amazing commission by artist MJBivouac! Vina’s ready to take a bite out of Pike! Of course, we know that Vina’s actual costume didn’t reveal that much voluptuousness, (if any) but I suspect that the customer who ordered this is always right! Note Pike’s blazing blues and the the background detail. Hard to believe that The Cage was filmed 50 years ago!
This is so funny, by artist Berende, who’s done a whole series of Trek episodes! I’ll post more soon!
For this (and next) week’s fan art, I’ve found some wonderfully rich portraits of the TOS cast by artist Jason Cheeseman Mayer (jason cm) on DeviantArt. This week we have Sulu and Uhura. I love the poses he chose and how beautiful he makes the eyes. More next week!
Here’s the rest of the current TOS portraits by Jason Cheeseman Mayer . I love the poses he chose and especially McCoy’s eyes! I hope he does Chapel, Rand, Scotty, and Chekov!
Hey Kids,
Back around 1978 or 9 I was given this cool (and for the time) state-of-the-art computer-printed illustration of Spock! (Possibly from one of my siblings) It’s antiquated by today’s standards, but still pretty cool. I love the quote, yet although I don’t think Spock ever said this, it totally fits his personality.
I recall ‘tweaking’ the original with a felt-tip marker (making more hairs on his head and darkening the collar). It’s been mounted on cardboard and has been sitting with my stuff in the basement for years. I scanned it and fixed its yellowing and age marks with Photoshop, but it still has a place in my heart :-)
Here’s a gorgeous study of our gal Uhura by Canadian artist Christina Zakhozhay. She really captured the character’s soul here :-) Enjoy.
For this weeks fan art, I found some more wonderful work by Gary Anderson (a.k.a. darkwing75) on DeviantArt. Gary has created dozens of these stylish images of sci-fi and fantasy characters in his signature fashion plate style. (I’m guessing there’s a template he uses). Here’s his take on some of the best Star Trek ladies from Earth and Elsewhere. I especially like Isis from Assignment: Earth. As I costume-fanatic, all I can say is Mr. Anderson, more please!
I love this cool, youthful image of Spock from “The Cage” by artist karracaz Just think, he played Spock for the first time 50 years ago! Aren’t we lucky?
Hey Kids,
What better way to start the year off than with a few laughs? These two comics by artist Berende are right on the mark! I love these. First “Random Scenes” then the trials of being trapped in Janice Lester’s body! Berende, more please!
It’s winter and it’s freezing! Spock snuggles with I-Chaya, his beloved sehlot in this beautiful, cozy portrait by aritst Athew (Natsu) on DeviantArt. Hope you’re all cozy too!
For your Fan Art Friday pleasure: Stopped in Mid-Kiss by alloiin the sky (on DeviantArt, of course). Me thinks Mirror Spock less years between Pon Farr… So that’s how that uniform opens…
The question of course is who has he been kissing and why on earth did they stop? I bet there’s a ton of people out there who’d slash this up with Kirk, but I’d prefer to think it’s Marlena…
Well, I’m not the only one who makes Trek movie-style posters! These three by artist Moira Murphy are fantastic! (and make mine look like chicken feed!) Bravo!
Friday already? Here’s your weekly dose of good ol’ TOS Fan Art: A beautiful sketch of Captain Kirk (those lashes!) with some of his best known quotes. This was a lovely job by artist dosruby.
